MONEY IS BEST WHEN IT'S ROLLING.

I'm not even going to start apologizing. I have the right to live my life, right? I thought so too. And it really isn't my fault it has been so rainy and hectic. That's just the way it is.

In the mean time I did some shopping. I haven't taken photos of all the new buys yet, but here are some, starting with a great Cora Kemperman vest:

The next thing I bought is also Cora Kemperman. May I present to you: The great Cora Kemperman blouse!

I haven't taken an "on" photo yet. Sorry about that, but I was too lazy. And it was too cold to take off my cozy sweater.

And last, but definately not least: A vivienne westwood blouse! It looks really great when wearing. It's really tight around the hips and waist and on top it's very baggy which gives a great effect. And again, no photo of me wearing it for the same reason as said above.

Aren't you jealous of me? Well, I would be too!

LILY ALLEN AND PLEATS.

First of all here's some music for ya. I have to say that I seriously love this cover Lilly Allen did. It makes me so happy.

I saw Lily Allen live last summer. She was actually really good. I never expected here to be good live. But she was. It was a great show.

The top actually has a waterfall collar, but I rolled the collar so it looked like this.

I haven't really got a lot I'd like to tell you. My life just isn't all that exciting.

Thanks to my puppy eyes, I convinced my dad that my friend and I should make our workspace from our attic. It's going to be really cool.
It's got beautiful lighting, one large table for our sewing machines, mannequins, notice boards on the wall to pin inspiration to, and a clothing rack to hang the finished clothes. Oh, and some storage space, but there should be plenty.

GETTING OLD.

I wore a casual outfit today. Because I just felt like it.

Oh, my new jumpsuit is going to be delivered tomorrow! Excited to see if it fits me. I don't think I'll be able to take any outfit photos, because I have to work from 8 AM until 6 PM and I have to go to a fancy dinner at 7 PM.

SINGING THE BLUES

I know it's been ages ago since I posted an outfit photo, so here's one for you! I wore this today, but took the photo last night when I was picking my outfit.
I'm sorry for the crappy photo, but it was dark, I lost my remote (found it again!) and well, it's too god damn rainy outside.

I decided that I shouldn't wear so much H&M. Because well, the quality isn't superb, everyone's wearing it and that should be reason enough to not own too many H&M items. I should invest more in pretty clothing, so know I'm addicted to marktplaats (dutch ebay lookalike) in the hope I'll find some really cheap, pretty clothing.

I decided to do an outfit post again. It's been so long. And I know the outfit isn't really exciting, but it's definately better than my PJ-outfits from the last few days. And I should shop more at other places than H&M.

I really feel like shopping, but I'm saving for a new lens. The baby costs about €450. Yes, that's a lot. So no new stuff for me in the near future, unless I really need it.

BERLIN.

I'm off to Berlin tomorrow. I'm kind of looking forward to it. Me and my dad decidied to have a litttle quality time. We'll be back at monday. I hope to take lots of photos.

This was just casual. Honestly, I didn't really bother dressing nicely because I had to change anyway because I had to work at 7PM. And because I didn't really leave the house, only to do some groceries for my very belated birthday party. I wore the vest with a belt outside, so it looked more like a dress.

Have I ever told you that I really like versatile things?

3.32 AM

H&M body, Vero Moda jeans, grandpa's hat, vintage shoes, very old bracelet.

This is what I wore for work, minus the hat. It really shows my pear shape. I always think it's not all that bad, until I look at photos of me. That's when I realise that it is bad, actually. Jeans are always too tight around my ass/tighs and too wide around my waist, causing some sort of skinny baggy effect. But well, I have to wear jeans for work, so you better work what ya got, right?

I changed these shoes for booties, and glad I did because it was cold outside! Even near the fire, it was still cold.

Here's a close up of the bracelet. I got it as a gift when I was a kid. I love that the white beads got flowers on them.

SUMMERISH.

It has been a long time since I uploaded an outfit photo. So I figured it was about time. I'm sorry for the ugly flash photos, but it was dark already.

I had a lovely BBQ with my cousins today. I really enjoyed it! I'm so grateful that my family is at least kinda close, especially because it's such a big family.

JUNGLE DRUM.

This is what I was wearing last friday. I'm sorry I'm so late uploading this, but I've been busy. Had to work yesterday and went to a musical, so been busy from 9 AM to 3 AM (Yes, that's long).

I had already seen the musical, but I just love theatre, can't help it.

As a little girl I always wanted to be in musicals. Always singing along to Annie and stuff. I still wish I could, but I'm a little bit more realistic now and know that that's never going to happen.

I didn't take any outfit photos yesterday. But I was wearing the same top, skinny jeans and my cut off vintage boots. Not really all that exciting.

BITTER HEART

Unfortunately no new shoes for me. I passed this year, but no good grade for maths. I don't get your gradessystem, so I'm just going to explain ours. Very easy, grades go from 1 - 10. 1 is really, really bad, 10 is the best you can get. Easy right?
I've got a 5 for maths. My best grade was a 8,7 for art.
I didn't have time & not enough light to take a photo of it, because I only finished it the night before at 4 AM.

Went to school early today to view photos of my teachers marriage. Loved the photos. I would love to shoot a wedding someday.

You know, I think of my life often as quite boring. But I can't complain. I mean, it's not very exciting. But I've got lots of people who love me and I'm able to love them back. So, I really can't complain. Although I know I will, sometimes.

DONE. FINALLY.

I'm done with tests week. Totally exhausted now (as you can probably tell from the bags).
I had a short night. Had to finish my painting, finished around 4 AM. Got up at 7.30 to study philosophy. Screwed up that test. The only thing I could remember was that I read it, and I knew where I read it, but couldn't remember exactly what I read.


I'm kind of nervous about school. You know, when I started the exams I had pretty good grades over all, but I'm so scared that I screwed up every test and won't pass this year. That would suck. And that is a euphemism.
Going to some friends now.

I'm back. I wonder how long it'll last, since this computer has crashed two times in the last month or so.

I really hope I didn't screw up maths as much as I think I did. I want shoes, but hey, I've gotta earn them.


I love butterflies, but this was the best shot I could get, because it flew away everytime I tried coming closer. I love their colors and patterns. Very inspirational.

I promised myself that if I end this year with good grades, I can buy myself some new shoes. I'm in need of some high heels. A little extra glamour is never wrong.

THE ANTI-STUDY POST.

Seriously crappy photos this time. I just don't like it when people are watching me taking self portraits. And well, everywhere I went I found some sort of person-ish creature.
I wore this to my aunts birthday dinner. It was pretty fun, but was kinda overdressed (as always, I think they're starting to get used to that by now).
Because the dress is too long to my liking I knotted it. Gives some volume as well.


I'm supposed to be studying, because my testweek is starting in a few hours. Makes me nervous thinking about it, but I just can't find concentration. So, if you've got some spare concentration, you know, somewhere in the back of your closet, please do send it to me! I'm going to need it.

SIMPLICITY.

I wish I could tell you something interesting, but all I did today was going to school, work on my oral exam english, study and have a mini photoshoot with my brother.

I have to go to a semi-formal thingie tonight. So I guess I'll just change the shirt and do something with my hair ( I hate the growing out fase it's currently going through).

I did the shoes for a wedding. I just had no shoes to wear and I thought this was perfect. I love the frays. The color matched the dress I was wearing that day perfectly.

LIKE A HEATWAVE.

I wasn't made for summer. I just feel like melted ice cream or something. I don't know if you've every experienced dutch summers, but the humidity is unbelievable.
What I also don't like about summer is the clothes. I like black, I like lots and lots of layers. Well, they're both not that summery.


I went shopping last friday and bought trousers, skinny jeans, a tee and some short sleeved sweatshirt thingie. Very cool.
Talked with my dad today about going away for a weekend (somewhere early in august) and we're thinking about London. Definately looking forward.
